DAY 01: ARRIVE IN HANOI ( D )

Welcome at Noi Bai Airport and transfer to Hanoi to check in to the hotel. We then visit the Saint Joseph”s Cathedral. Saint Joseph Cathedral is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Hanoi, Vietnam. It is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Hanoi. The church was built in 1886 in the neo-gothic style. It holds several masses throughout the day and is usually crowded on weekends and religious holidays. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 02: HANOI – HA LONG ( B,L,D )
|
Leave Hanoi this morning and head straight to Ha Long bay a stunning UNESCO World Heritage site with its 3,000 islands of towering limestone dotting the bay and Gulf of Tonkin. We will board a beautiful boat for an overnight cruise on Ha Long Bay with an excellent menu of fresh seafood. Lunch and dinner are served on boat. Overnight on board.

DAY 03: HA LONG – HANOI ( B,L )
|
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy aquamarine water of the bay at its best. After tea break, the boat continues cruising quietly through spectacular limestone formations of Ha Long Bay. Enjoy the most isolated bay”s spectacular and unique islands.
Return to Ha Long harbor after a brunch for transfer back to Hanoi. Enjoy the Water puppets show. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 04: HA NOI CITY TOUR & CHURCH ( B,L )
|
On this day, we will visit several landmarks including: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the former Presidential Palace, the modest stilt house of President Ho Chi Minh, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature, which is the first university of Vietnam being built in 1070. We will visit Ham Long church which was designed and completed by a Vietnamese architect and was built with traditional materials such as lime, bamboo and cardboard...to create arches and make echo effects when celebrating the Mass. Stay overnight in Hanoi City.

DAY 05: HA NOI – NINH BINH – PHAT DIEM CATHEDRAL – TAM COC ( B,L )
|
We drive to Ninh Binh and visit Vietnam"s first capital, Hoa Lu including temples dedicated to Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang of the Dinh Dynasty ( 968-80 ), and Emperor Le Dai Hanh of the Le Dynasty ( 980-1009 ).
We continue on to Phat Diem Stone Cathedral which was built from 1875 to 1899 by Priest Tran Luc, rated as one of the most beautiful church in Vietnam, Phat Diem Cathedral is like the “Catholic capital” of Vietnam. This is a large building and the cathedral church of the diocese of Phat Diem vast in northern Vietnam. The church is built entirely of stone and wood. Now, there is Priest"s Grave in front of the Church. The feature of this building is modeled on the architecture of the traditional temples in Vietnam inspire of Catholic Church.
After lunch time, we drive to Tam Coc ( three caves ) and take a boat trip cruising on Ngo Dong river to discover this marvelous cave. Return to Hanoi for an overnight stay.

DAY 06: HA NOI – DANANG – HOI AN ( B,L )
|
Fly to Danang and transfer to Hoi An. After lunch, we make a walking tour of Hoi An ancient town including a visit Japanese Covered Bridge, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, Tan Ky ancient house, and China Pottery Museum. Overnight in Hoi An Town.

DAY 07: HOI AN – OUR LADY OF TRA KIEU – MY SON ( B,L )
|
Visit Tra Kieu center of pilgrimage, the catholic named that Vietnam used to call is Mary built 1898. The temple is dedicated to the lady who helped catholics here fight against Vuong movement in 1885. Continue our trip to visit My Son Holy land which is the World Heritage Site in Vietnam, is dated from 7th to 13th Centuries. In the afernoon, you are free for shopping and having clothes made. Overnight in Hoi An Town.

DAY 08: HOI AN – DANANG – DANANG CATHEDRAL – DANANG CITY TOUR ( B,L )
|
After breakfast, we leave Hoi An for Danang City. En route, we visit the Marble Mountains and then visit Danang Cathedral - known to locals as Con Ga Church ( Rooster Church ) because of the weathercock on top of the steeple, the candy-pink Danang Cathedral was built for the city”s French residents in 1923. The cathedral still functions as a lively place of worship; in fact late-comers for services often find all the seats are taken. Then you are free to explore Danang. Overnight in Danang

DAY 09: DA NANG – HUE CITY TOUR ( B,L )

In the morning, we will bid farewell to Da Nang and travel by road North across the stunning Hai Van Pass, stopping at Lang Co Beach for break. After a relaxing stop in this scenic area, we will continue our drive to Hue and on arrival check into the hotel. In the afternoon, we visit the emperor Tu Duc Tomb and Khai Dinh Tomb. Stay overnight in Hue City

DAY 10: HUE – LA VANG HOLY LAND - HUE ( B,L )
|
After breakfast, a 60 km coach ride to Vietnam”s National Shrine for Mass. It is here that Our Lady presented herself as Mother of God to the many Catholics who were taking refuge during the great persecution and suffering from sickness and hunger. She advised the people to use the leaves of the “La Vang” fern to treat their ailments and promised them to receive their prayers with maternal generosity. La Vang Holy is a shrine located in Hai Lang district, Quang Tri Province. Christians believe that Mary shows flexibility in this area in 1798 and a church was erected near the three banyan tree, where the apparitions and this is an important place of pilgrimage of Catholics Vietnam. La Vang Holy was awarded by Vatican Holy is the Emirate Palace of La Vang Cathedral from 1961. Enjoy our lunch here as the sisters cook.
We will return to Hue City, we shop around the bustling Dong Ba market at Perfume River and visit the most recognizable landmark of Hue, historic Thien Mu Pagoda and the Citadel, the former site of the old capital of imperial city with temples, beautiful garden & tombs. Back to hotel for the night.

DAY 11: HUE – SAIGON ( B,L )

After breakfast, we fly to Saigon. Check in to the hotel and have lunch. The rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight in Saigon.

DAY 12: SAIGON – CU CHI - NOTRE DAME CATHEDRAL ( B,L )
|
After breakfast, we drive to visit Cu Chi tunnel which was a bitter battleground for many years and was used by the guerillas during the Vietnam War. After lunch, we will take an excursion in the former Presidential Palace, Old Saigon Post Office, History Museum and the Notre Dame Cathedral – another name is Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica. This is an officially Basilica of Our Lady of The Immaculate Conception located in the downtown of Ho Chi Minh City ( Saigon ), Vietnam. Established by French colonists, the cathedral was constructed between 1863 and 1880. It has two bell towers, reaching a height of 58 meters ( 190 feet ). Overnight in Saigon.

DAY 13: SAIGON – OUR LADY OF BAI DAU IN VUNG TAU - SAIGON ( B,L )
|
Drive to Vung Tau City, Vung Tau is the tourist and commercial center of Ba Ria – Vung Tau ( an industrial province in Southeastern Vietnam ). The whole city area lies on a peninsula which is separated from the mainland by a gulf river called Co May river. We will visit and mass at Our Lady of Bai Dau Church. Huge interior and you can practically feel the ocean breeze in the church. The atmosphere here is so peaceful and suitable to conduct silent prayer. Return to Saigon for overnight stay.
